The houses come fully equipped with linen, towels, broadband, all modern appliances, a contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances and fully stocked with all the tableware and kitchen accessories you could require. The houses have lovely patio doors off the dining rooms which open onto a beautiful decking area with garden bordering with an ample garden and a furnished patio.
Residents may avail of the hotel’s facilities which boasts a plethora of outdoor activities; salmon fishing on a private stretch of the Sheen River, clay pigeon shooting, walking trails, scenic bike tours, tennis, croquet, and swimming pool. You have a choice of numerous locally based activities which includes a host of marked walking trails.
The annual Walking Festivals take place at Easter and May/June, offer walkers of all standards guided walks of various lengths. Water sports are in abundance with pleasure trips off Kenmare Bay to see the seals and other stunning wildlife. Canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and water-skiing are all available within a short walking distance of town. You can also charter a motor yacht for the day to tour the coastline. Call into Killmakilloge for a pint of Guinness with lunch, and of course, on a hot summer’s day, a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the bay is glorious. Back on the mainland, there are several horse-riding stables waiting to bring you up the Mountains, along the coast or through the many woods. All classes of horses are available for the novice or experienced rider.
Both the Kenmare Golf Club and the Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club offer a challenging game over their 18 holes.
