With a track record in delivering, McCarthy Developments (Cork) Ltd, is a family-run business that has been in property development in Cork for over 60 years. The company’s focus is on the residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. The team’s core competencies are in acquisition, planning, development, sales, finance, and risk management. The company’s portfolio includes high-profile completed projects and also some proposed projects currently at various stages of development and planning. The team’s capabilities allow them to direct each project from site acquisition, planning, and construction through to the long-term management of the property. The dedicated property management department provides the company with the chance to receive valuable feedback from customers, enabling continual improvement in terms of service, design, finish, and completion of all projects.

The family has completed projects with a gross development value in excess of €200m which include over 500 residential units at the prestigious Hartys Quay waterfront development in Rochestown and Jacobs Island mixed-use scheme in Ballinure, Mahon. In the hospitality sector, they have also developed Sheen Falls Country Club in Kenmare, Co, Kerry.
