Overview

Jacobs Island is a stunning waterfront development on the Douglas Estuary accessed off the South Ring Road at the Mahon Interchange immediately south of the Jack Lynch Tunnel. Nestled in Lough Mahon, the 41-acre site boasts uninterrupted sea views in a location that is second to none.

The picturesque Jacob’s Island has as its boundaries Lough Mahon on its eastern side and the Douglas Estuary on its southern side. This development contains approximately 600 residential units plus a commercial/neighbourhood centre commenced in 2003. 184 apartments and 160 houses have been completed to date in a mix of detached houses, semi-detached houses and apartments.

Design

Phase 8 and 9 of Jacobs Island Residential development consist of final 4 residential blocks which then completes the residential masterplan for Jacobs Island.

Phase 8 consists of Block 7 and Block 8 to the south of the existing apartments and will be landscaped with the same care and dedication to excellence as the rest of the Jacobs Island family stunning views over the water.

Phase 9 consists of Block 3 and Block 4 to the north of the existing apartments and will be landscaped with the same care and dedication to excellence as the rest of the Jacobs Island family with stunning views over the water.

The elevation treatment will be in keeping with the existing Blocks the Kestrel, Heron, Kingfishers and Falcon, collectively known as The Sanctuary.
